Amino Acids and their Crucial Importance
Amino acids link together to form a chain called proteins. Individual proteins are formed from these groups that are arranged specifically. This ideal system has purpose a llowing each protein in the body to perform its own function for a specific need. Thus, proteins are not negotiable in regards to interchange and obtain their own unique identity and makeup within the body.

The process in which a protein is born stems from food intake with dietary protein. This protein is then broken down into its amino acid form which in turn is used to build specific proteins when needed. In the blood brain area a barrier allows they pass through and act as neurotransmitters increasing communication between cells.

Amino acids are chemical units which makeup proteins and consist of 16 percent nitrogen. Because proteins form the bases for all living organisms, they are a crucial component of protein and to healthy organisms. Proteins are matter and constitute the formation of organs, hair, bones, bodily fluids, muscle, ligaments, tendons and nails.

Enzymes and hormones are in actual fact, proteins which regulate all bodily procedures. All living things consist of hundreds of variant proteins created by approximately twenty-eight known amino acids.
In freedom our bodies look young. In money our bodies age.
Essential amino acids however, are not produced by glands and organs and must be ingested from food. These essentials include Leucine; methionine; histidine; isoleune; lysine; phenylalanine; threonine; tryptophan and valine.

Remaining amino acids are nonessential which only means the body can produce them, and their importance is just a vital. Protein digestion is complicated and a variety of responses and biochemical reactions are needed to break protein into its component amino acids and if this process isn't performed accordingly, the breakdown is incomplete. Actual chewing tears the protein enabling small parts access to the digestive tract.

Chemical reactions such as enzyme activity will take place but only on the foods particles surface. And chewing thoroughly exposes more surfaces for these reactions to take place. Once these proteins enter the stomach hydrochloric acid (HCL) along with enzymes (pepsin) will attack the collagen. And leaving the stomach protein is 15 percent digested.

Once entering the small intestine, digestive enzymes are needed to break down the protein into amino acids. If enzyme supply or activity is not apparent then deterioration of the protein via intestinal bacteria takes place. What's left is toxins or replicated neurotransmitters.

A proper acidity (pH) balance is crucial for enzymes to function. Therefore, if the body cannot secret proper fluids (digestive juices or stomach acids) function of enzymes is hindered. However, in order for digestive enzymes to form in the first place the body must contain the correct free acids. And without these acids the digestive enzymes complete breakdown of protein into individual free acids cannot happen which in turn is needed to make enzymes-a complex and vicious circle.

Also, when protein enters the small intestine a certain enzyme is needed to break the link between two specific acids. In other words for certain types of acids to separate they need their own specific enzyme.

Primary Function of Amino Acids
The main function of amino acids is to provide the essential components for living tissue not to supply energy. In harmony with vitamins and minerals amino acids are essential for cell division, duplication of genetic code, making enzymes, hormones and neurotransmitters. In addition to all this, they're essential for the forming of muscle and connective tissue and providing the basic material for the immune system.

The body has to break down the protein into the acids before it can use food protein. Low levels of hydrochloric acid (HCL) along with inability to make enzymes will interfere with proper digestion of food protein into amino acid which is needed to build body proteins. All it takes is for a single essential acid to be missing and protein synthesis will fall dramatically or stop altogether. Thus, the result is that all acids can be reduced in proportionate to the one that is low or missing.

We all need to understand the significance of amino acids and knowing how complicated this process is we should never underestimate the importance of them and the role they play in conjunction with enzyme activity, hormones, food proteins vitamins and minerals. The maintenance and function of this biological chain reaction is what determines our longevity, it defines for each of us an individual aging process.

And in reference to the first half of this article, that fountain of youth as limited as it may be is easily attainable. But where the work really lies is in the restructuring of our human consumption and living habits.

The human body is complex, a living work of art. And appreciating its magnificence is a positive step in the right direction for all of us. And taking it for granted is the first habit we should break.
